eControl has a spatial information system, with which local information can be digitally captured, statistically analysed and graphically processed.
The cartography model supports the user in the capture of local information in forms and checklists. The statistical evaluation makes local accumulations - for example accident blackspots - identifiable.
A location is captured intuitively by clicking the mouse onto the selected map.
Maps are suspended in a hierarchy tree, for example, in order to subdivide the map material properly with regard to run-ups and positions or terminals, floors, areas and rooms. eControl enables the use of both calibrated and non-calibrated maps, depending on the quality of the map material.
When the map material is refreshed, as it is unavoidable over time, eControl guarantees that the coordinates and the map object always remain historically correctly assigned.
